Magnus Hexeberg (born 1998) is a Norwegian composer, based in Oslo. He has a Bachelor’s degree in composition from the Norwegian Academy of Music (2019 – 2023) and have studied both trumpet and conducting.

Magnus has written for a wide range of ensembles including Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, The Norwegian Wind Ensemble (DNBE), Manger musikklag, as well as many chamber groups and solo performers. Some musicians Magnus has colaborated with, are Eivind Ringstad, Christian Henriksen, Kenneth Ryland, Tiril Eirunn Einarsdotter, Tomas Nannestad, and many more. His works has been performed at Ultima festival, Norsjø Kammermusikkfest, the opening of Midtåsen Kulturpavaljong, and in Bærum Kulturhus

His music is described as nostalgic, intricate, and colorful, even though there is a simplicity there. Magnus usually writes in a tonal idiom, with a focus on timbre and atmosphere.

In 2022 Magnus received the scholarship for culture from Bærum Kommune.
Later that year his guitar piece Ueve was awarded the price for best composition in Midgardskonkurransen.
